Great little town in central FL

So, I bought a house in Lake Placid about 7 months ago and so far I love it.
Real Estate is very reasonable and plenty of properties to pick from. Seems like prices are not appreciating like the coastal areas.
Lots of lakes and cute town known for its murals.
Basic shopping with a new Publix food store and Sebring is about 15 miles North for the big box stores.
Real estate taxes much lower than the coastal areas.
